How are your services different than other Internet marketing firms?

There are a few ways in which we try and distinguish ourselves. First, our CEO is a practicing attorney. The reason this helps is he understands the unique ethical limitations lawyers have over other businesses. Additionally, the practice of law is different than selling someone other services. By starting off as a solo practitioner, to now running a law firm, Attorney Hynes understands what it takes to get clients to contact you, and ultimately retain you.

We offer a guarantee that we can get you to the first page of google for your relevant keywords.

Our prices are transparent, and we do not just charge based upon how much we think you will pay.

We are willing to show documentation of how we have helped our clients. You can see what type of results are possible with our services.

We offer an exclusivity contract. We understand you may not want to work with a company who also works with other local attorneys. We have the option in our custom services to have a non-compete agreement, where we will not take on any clients in a certain geographic area/practice area.

How long before the website you build for us is up and running?

From start to finish, we have most of our client's websites online within a couple of weeks. This time can vary depending on how many new clients we get that week, as well as how quickly we get revisions and recommendations back from you.

How long until I get first page results?

This varies depending on which SEO plan you choose, how big your market is, and whether you have a niche practice or are a general practice. Typically, one might expect in 1-3 months to be on the first page for relevant keyphrases, and 6-12 months #1-#3 for certain phrases. It is impossible to guarantee a #1 position as Google is always changing their procedures for ranking sites. Also, your competitors might be jealous of your ranking and decide to put a lot more money into their online campaign.

Can I see examples of your work?

Yes. You can see layouts of some of our websites here:

Why do you show your prices online when other companies don't?

Sorry, I can't tell you why other companies try selling you a product without letting you know how much it will cost. If I had to guess, it is because they charge too much, or want to charge you based upon how much they think you will pay.

How do I select the best keywords/know what clients are searching for?

We will do the market analysis to see which keywords are likely to give you the most relevant visitors. We have worked with attorneys in a variety of niche markets, and through experience already know which keywords you should be optimizing for, and which keywords you should be avoiding.

Can I make modifications to the website?

Yes. Our websites are based upon content management systems. You will have a username and password and can add text to your website very easily. If you know how to write emails, or use programs like Microsoft Word, you will find the software is very easy to use. We also go through it with you the first time and will answer any questions you have. We are here to help you succeed.

Why are your website designs considered leases?

We do not actually give you the code/software of the website. Rather, we host your website and files on our servers. This makes it easier for you to not have to worry about setting up your website or maintaining its security. Additionally, we do not want people reselling our software. Finally, we have contracted with various companies for all of the software we implement on websites, and our purchase agreement with some of our contractors is not set up to allow us to distribute the files.

How long will it take for my site to be live once I sign up?

We will begin working on your site immediately. We generally will have a full completed design done within a week. After that, the amount of time depends on the changes you want. We understand you may want additional changes at some point as well. We want long lasting customers, so we continue to work with you even after the original site launches.

How can I see the results of people coming to my website?

You can see how your website ranks simply by typing in your keywords into google.

You can see how many links you have to your website by using the phrase of your domain name in quotes ie: "legalmarketingguru.com"

Finally, we install software so that you can track how many visitors you get per month, what keywords they used, which pages they visit, where they come from, etc. You can either check these things on your own, or we can send you a monthly report.

What is the difference between a conventional website and a mobile website?

Mobile websits refer to what internet browser/computer the person is using when viewing your website. If they use a cell phone, or ipad/ipod, or some related device, that is considered a mobile device. There are different considerations when designing a website that can be viewed on a mobile device. Generally mobile websites will have less content, and no video.  The reason for this is the screen is typically much smaller, and the bandwidth/speed of how long it takes them to load pages is much slower (Although it has gotten much better in recent years). Finally, if someone is viewing your website from a mobile phone, you want to make it incredibly easy for them to call you.

Can you have too much content on your website?

No, but you can have bad content. If you are selling your attorney services, it would not do you very good to have many pages devoted to selling shoes. If your pages are related to the law, and particularly your practice area, this is all good content. You want to regularly add new content to your website. A blog is a great way to do this.
